Each year we develop a contest to select our top twenty sandwiches for the year. The past several years we have had our own version of of March Madness, or as we call it, "The National Sandwich Championship Contest." The NSCC. We take 64 sandwiches seed them in four divisions and battle it out for the Sandwich of the year. Its all for charity. The winner for 2010 was SHANES CHILI DOG. Shane's Chili Dog is an All Beef Hot Dog, with yellow mustard, Chili and Beans, with minced yellow onion, and shredded Cheddar cheese. Served with a pickle and Potato chips. Previous winners include the Italian Beef (2009), Weinberger's Reuben (2008) and our original winner in 2007 the Chicago Hot Dog. We have noticed that many other groups are now doing March Madness contests and we don't want to get lost in the crowd so bare with us while we develop another contest to determine our new sandwich of the year. I can promise you this it will be a fun run of food. Right now NFL Playoff sandwiches are at the top of our list so keep watching for the contest its on the horizon.
